Mealybug Destroyer is the beneficial tropical ladybug Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, which controls all stages of Mealybug including eggs. Cryptolaemus are easy to use. Lightly mist the plants to be treated with water before releasing. Evenly distribute the contents of the vial over plants or trees to be treated. Release the Cryptolaemus on the infected plants in the evening or early morning to avoid them flying away. Covering the plant after the tropical ladybugs are applied with a light pillowcase secured at the base of the plant, or any other breathable material will keep the beneficial insects on your plant for a longer period of time (3-5 days). 1 vial (25 beetles) covers 3-5 medium plants, depending on mealybug pest density.
