Spider Mite Destroyer is the beneficial predatory mite, Phytoseiulus persimilis that seeks out and attacks Spidermites. Spidermites are the only food source for Persimilis therefore they are extremely effective. Introduce the persimilis as soon as possible after purchasing. If storage is required keep at 8-10 degrees celcius or 46-50 degrees fahrenheit. These beneficials are sensitive to high temperatures and low humidity. The temperature should not be set higher than 28 degrees celcius and the relative humidity should not drop under 60%. Low humidity has a negative effect on the hatching eggs and development of juveniles. Misting the infected plants with water will help increase humidity after the persimilis is applied. Spider Mite Destroyer is easy to use, just evenly distribute bean leaves covered with Persimilis on the infected plants. Leaves should remain on crop for at least 2 days to allow eggs to hatch. 1 unit (250 persimilis) covers up to 5 medium plants.
