Fungus Gnat Destroyer is the beneficial predatory mite Hypoaspis Miles. This mite controls Fungus Gnats (Sciaridae), Thrips and Springtail. The Fungus Gnat Destroyer comes in a 250 ml tube filled with vermiculite. Apply this product evenly on the surface of the soil or in 5 ml (1 tsp) piles at the base of each infected plant. The soil should be moist but not too wet. * It can possibly take several weeks (depending on the introduction rate) until the Hypoaspis is established in the soil. In a greenhouse setting it is more effective to introduce this product at the beginning of the crop. For house plants, intoduce this product at least twice a year (every six months) and when re-potting. 1 unit/tube contains approximately 5000 Hypoaspis Miles and covers up to 20 medium plants.
